Enabling Photo Effects

Those users upgrading from Designer Pro X, MAGIX Web Designer Premium or MAGIX Photo & Graphic Designer can enable the following tools and effects in Designer +. 

This is achieved by copying the required files from the MAGIX program folder to the Xara Designer+ program folder. You’ll normally find the program folders under C:\Program Files\MAGIX and C:\Program Files\Xara, unless you chose to install to another location on your device. 

 

Live Effects

Enable the full set of Live Effects in Designer+ by copying the following files and folders from the program folder of your MAGIX Designer installation, into your Designer+ program folder. 

PCFx (folder)
PCFx_eng.dll
vs_effectlib.dll

Then restart the application and you should see all the effects in the effects list in the Live Effects Tool  on the Photo toolbar.
