Web Safe Fonts on Android Devices

Some web safe fonts are not available on Android devices such as Arial, Times New Roman and Courier New. In this case, the fonts are replaced with identical Google Fonts. Without replacing these fonts with Google Fonts, your Android device would substitute them for something else and your text would not appear correctly.

Arial	Arimo
Times New Roman	Tinos
Courier New	Cousine

 

This only applies to Android devices, iOS, Macs and PCs will use the web safe font.
