Adding photo slideshows, galleries & hovers to your site

Since 24.1, Web Designer+ & Designer Pro+ include a native slideshow.  

 

Web Designer & Designer Pro offer a good selection of photo slideshow, photo gallery and photo hover widgets in Elements / Designs Gallery. You can find these for the classic 'freeform' website templates in Image resources > Photo Hovers and Photo Slideshows & galleries.

Add the widget to your web document by clicking Import in Elements, or simply drag & drop the widget from the Designs Gallery, you can then follow the instructions in Locally Editable Widgets to customize and insert your photo hover, gallery or slideshow. Designer will automatically generate a preview image of the inserted widget, providing a WYSIWYG representation of the published widget on your page.

If you don't intend to use one of the bundled widgets you can also insert the code for a solution from another provider into a placeholder - see the article Adding widget placeholders manually .
