How do I buy Designer Pro+, Web Designer+ or Photo & Graphic Designer+
Xara Designer Pro+, Web Designer+ and Photo & Graphic Designer+ are subscription versions of our most popular desktop titles, distributed, sold and supported by Xara. Whether you are new to Xara or you are upgrading from an older version, purchasing the + version is easy:
- Start by downloading a trial version of the software you wish to buy (Designer Pro+ or Web Designer+ or Photo & Graphic Designer+). See Where can I download the Xara trial versions?
- Install and run it and click Activate Now
- Create a Xara account to complete the activation (you will already have one if you are a Xara Cloud user, in which case select Sign In instead of Signup). Once that is done you should see a Success message, return to Designer+ and click Continue
- If you have already purchased via a web link or other route you don't need to do anything further, the trial will unlock. But otherwise you are now in trial mode, click the big blue UPGRADE button in the trial to purchase
- Select the correct currency for your country
- You will see a clear display of the monthly and yearly options including cost, simply select the one you wish to subscribe to and click UPGRADE to complete the purchase and unlock the trial. If you are an owner of an older version purchased from Magix you should see an upgrade route 'Were you a Magix customer?' (you will need your serial number, see Note 2 below on how to find it).
- Once you have purchased, return to the trial download and it should automatically unlock.
Note: The prices shown at this stage do not include VAT. You will be shown the VAT - if there is any - once you have entered your billing address and (if relevant) VAT number, and before you complete the purchase.
Note 2: If you own a version sold and supported by Magix check out our current upgrade offers. You will need your serial number to calculate the discount, you can find a record of that in your Magix purchase confirmation email and/or in the Magix Service Center. If you can find neither then Magix customer support will be able to help you, you can contact them via email to infoservice@magix.net.
